It’s now official. Apple would kick off WWDC 2012, starting from June 11-15. Tickets went on sale few hours ago and unfortunately, all of them have been sold out. If you are looking to grab one for yourself, you are definitely a tad too late. Also, Apple has made some changes in their WWDC attendees age limit. Folks at the age of 13-17 years could attend the developer conference as well. It’s a huge steps to involve the students from all over the world into application development.
In addition to it, Apple was offering a scholarship program for the students to get tickets for WWDC 2012. As per the press release, Apple would talk about its next operating system for Mac, that is, Mountain Lion and the next generation of mobile OS, iOS 6. Similar to last year, the whole of WWDC 2012 seems to be software centric. It’s highly likely that Apple would emphasize more on software rather than hardware. Perhaps, a refresh of the much awaited Macbook Pros or Airs is expected.
Let’s not forget about the next iPhone. Even though conference appears to be entirely about software, people would not stop talking about the new iPhone or whatever it would be called. If Apple revises the previous year schedule, we predict the next iPhone only in October through a special event. However, prior to it, iDevices users would be able to download iOS 6 all over the world. Would you attend this year’s WWDC? or what do you expect other than this from it? Let’s know in the comment section.
